Grassroots Opportunities

Mini Drives

the period purse mini drives

The Period Purse was built from the grassroots up by small groups of passionate individuals. Want to do a mini drive with your colleagues, friends, or book club? Help out financially or with in-kind donations. Each $15 supports one person who menstruates through an online fundraiser. Or collect period products and have one of your team drop it off at our storage unit in Etobicoke or your closest food bank.

Email our Mini Drive Coordinator for more information!

Calling all genders of all ages! From middle school to 99 years old, we offer virtual and in person Toronto presentations to increase your learning and decrease the stigma of periods. Learn with our Menstruation Nation through a variety of topics.

Want to hear what virtual presentations we can give your group, email our Education Coordinator.

Neighbours helping Neighbours

packers and oganizers

We love when neighbours can help neighbours. Are you free during the week to join us for 2-3 hours to sort donations, make period packs, or get delivery ready? Join our mailing list for our neighbours helping neighbours program.

Email our Volunteer Coordinator for any questions.

We respectfully acknowledge the land we live and work on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinabewaki, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Mississauga, and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
